Over the Influence Gallery showcases artists who explore the intersections of various forms of visual expression, such as art, architecture, design, music, and fashion. It is located in the Arts District, a vibrant and creative neighborhood that hosts many galleries, studios, restaurants, and bars. The gallery was founded by Robin Peckham, a curator and writer with extensive experience in the Asian art scene and the editor-in-chief of ArtReview Asia. The gallery aims to provide global opportunities for its artists and to foster cross-cultural dialogue and exchange. Some of the artists featured in the gallery are Invader, Zevs, Camilla Engström, and Ben Arpéa.


David Kordansky Gallery

David Kordansky Gallery works with over fifty artists and artist estates from different backgrounds and disciplines. The gallery was established in 2003 by David Kordansky, a conceptual and performance artist. It  presents a variety of exhibitions, publications, and events, featuring both new and established artists such as Sam Gilliam, Rashid Johnson, Jennifer Guidi, and Ricky Swallow. It also joins major art fairs such as Frieze Los Angeles and contributes to various public education programs and benefit auctions. It is widely recognized as one of the top galleries in the US and the world.


Hauser & Wirth

Hauser & Wirth is an international gallery devoted to contemporary art and modern masters, with nine locations worldwide. The branch opened in March 2016 in a former flour mill in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District. The gallery showcases works by renowned artists such as Mark Bradford, Louise Bourgeois, and David Hammons, as well as emerging talents like Luchita Hurtado and Avery Singer. It also features a bookstore, a restaurant, and a garden, creating a vibrant communal space that links art and architecture with a dynamic events program. Hauser & Wirth was founded in 1992 in Zurich by Iwan Wirth, Manuela Wirth and Ursula Hauser, who were joined in 2000 by Partner and President Marc Payot. The gallery is known for its support of artists’ projects and exhibitions, as well as its publications, education, and conservation initiatives.


Blum & Poe

BLUM is a contemporary art gallery that represents over sixty artists and estates from around the world. It was founded in 1994 by Tim Blum and Jeff Poe, who met as art students at UCLA. The gallery has been a pioneer in promoting postwar and contemporary art movements, especially from Japan. It also has exhibition spaces in New York and Tokyo, and a publishing division, BLUM Books. In 2023, Poe left the gallery, leaving Blum in charge. The gallery is located in a renovated warehouse in Culver City, a vibrant art district. It is one of the first green certified galleries in the US, and offers a wide-ranging program of exhibitions, lectures, performance series, and an annual art book fair.

Thinkspace is a contemporary art gallery that showcases the work of emerging and established artists from the New Contemporary Art Movement. It is one of the most active and productive exponents of this movement, creating opportunities for its artists and work all over the world. Thinkspace was founded in 2005 by Peter Chee, who is also the CEO and founder of Thinkspace, a coworking space that supports entrepreneurs and startups. It is located in LA’s burgeoning West Adams District, a historic and diverse neighborhood that is home to many creative and cultural institutions. It offers a variety of exhibitions, projects, and events that aim to elevate and promote the New Contemporary Art Movement and its artists.
